Bagadig

After one to two years in music classes, the young musicians are integrated into the bagadig. There they discover ensemble music and already participate in their first competitions : the bagadoù championships, the bombarde ensemble competitions, the solo bagpipe or drum competitions…

The competitions are also their first performances in front of the public, all similar to the performances put on for large events of the Quimper region : Festival de Cornouaille, Liviou ar re Yaouank, les Jeudis de l'Evêché...

5ème catégorie : le bagadig 3ème au concours BAS 29

Le concours départemental de cinquième catégorie a eu lieu samedi 15 mai 2010 aux Jardins de l'Evéché à Quimper : 12 bagadoù et bagadigoù ainsi que 5 skolajoù s'y sont produits. Comme en 2009, le Bagadig KEMPER, mené par Yannick Martin, monte sur le podium en se classant brillamment troisième derrière le bagadig PENHARS & SAINT-PATRICK (2ème) et le bagad AN ERGE VRAS (1er).

Ils ont complété ce week-end par une prestation dimanche 16 mai au Mondial Pupilles à Plomelin.

Bravo à eux pour leur prestation ainsi qu'aux formateurs du bagad et rendez-vous le 14 Juillet 2010 à Carhaix pour le championnat de Bretagne des bagadoù de cinquième catégorie.

Bagadig Kemper : Third at the Quimper Contest !

Within the head of the celebration of the Bodadeg ar Sonerion Penn ar Bed federation, that took place Saturday May 16^th, 2009 as part of the departmental bagadoù contest in the fifth category. In total, there were 16 bagadoù and bagadigoù that presented a set of around six minutes of which there were two “ton doubl” gavottes des montagnes imposés..

Bagadig KEMPER, managed by Pierre-Marie KERVAREC, wonderfully managed to get bring themselves up to third place behind Bagadig Plougastell (1^st ) Bagad An Ergue Vras (2^nd ) ; Bagadig Kemperlé, initially was first, before being disqualified.

Congratulations to them for this very beautiful presentation!
